RMIT Foundation programs allow students to focus on areas of interest, while providing a supportive environment to enhance academic skills. During the year of preparatory studies, students will become familiar with Australia's teaching model and pace of teaching in a gradual and orderly manner, laying a solid foundation for the undergraduate curriculum.

Learn at your own pace
The Foundation Year offers two start dates for one academic year, and students can choose a suitable time. (In order to link with the commencement of undergraduate studies, only part of RMIT Foundation will start the course.

One on one support and attention
At the beginning of the Foundation Year, teachers and counselors at RMIT Foundation provide guidance and counseling to students.

Free counseling and social activities
In order to make a smooth transition, RMIT provides free counseling programs and social activities to help foreign students make friends and adapt to the new environment.
